Getting hands on ARDUINO.
- What is arduino?
Arduino is an open-source electronics platform based on easy-to-use hardware and software. It’s intended for anyone making interactive projects.
- What does the arduino board do?
Arduino senses the environment by receiving inputs from many sensors, and affects its surroundings by controlling lights, motors, and other actuators.
- How to interact with arduino?
You can tell your Arduino what to do by writing code in the Arduino programming language and using the Arduino development environment.
How to get started with arduino right away?
As arduino is an open source you can order it online or buy from any other electronics retailers around you. Now download the “ARDUINO IDE” from the official arduino site. This is where you will program your arduino (write the code).
It will benefit you to have basic knowledge of C language before starting arduino programming.
My next post will be a tutorial for the first project on arduino. Blinking the LED on arduino. This project is also called the “HELLO WORLD” of electronics world. People with a prior coding knowledge will understand what i meant by that!
